Aromatherapy

The use of essential oils and massage has been recorded as a means of healing and promoting wellbeing as far back as the Egyptian culture and beyond.

Essential Oils are extracted from plant material and used on the body in massage or inhalation. Human Beings and plants are closely related because all living organisms are descended from the same single-cell line. The chemical composition of DNA in plants and Human Beings, is virtually the same. Therefore, does it not make sense to treat our mind, body and spirit with a natural substance that contains the same chemical composition as ourselves.

Aromatherapy has many benefits but generally, it has the effect of “switching off” the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) and engaging the parasympathetic nervous system, producing a state of calm and relaxation.
